Inspired by Sidmouth

Our Sidmouth collection of knitted products has been inspired by the colours of the seafront and cliffs.

Situated on the Jurassic Coast, which is a World Heritage Site, the town is renowned for the Regency architecture that can be seen throughout the town centre.

With its old-world charm, Sidmouth regularly attracts thousands of visitors each year, who get the chance to enjoy its natural environment.

Working with Alex Walton Photography, we have created a collection of products that are inspired by the natural colours of the town. These include the red of the sandstone cliffs that rise high above the level of the seafront.

The grey/blue sea adds interest to the patterns we use, as do the paler colours of the sky and clouds.

And the mustard yellows draw their inspiration from the colour of the sand.

The collection is made from Soft Donegal wool. This is 100% merino, it meets of the requirements of modern yarn by being beautifully soft, yet with its large flecks and having been spun in the traditional wooden spun method has all the charm of a traditional homespun Donegal

The collection offers a range of products that are all linked together by their colours.
